This past weekend Cassidy and I took the newly opened light rail from Capitol Hill up to the University of Washington to walk around the campus and see the cherry blossoms. It was also partially so that Cassidy could see the new light rail station. I’ve started using the train in my commute to work, but she hadn’t taken the train up to the new station yet.

The campus had lots of other people all walking around with the same idea. The trees looked awesome and reminded us both of our trip to Japan last year around this time. I brought my camera and snapped a few shots of the trees, buildings, and people out that day. I also just downloaded the Nik collection the day before since it’s free now. I used the plugins to edit this photo. Overall, I really like the results.
